Some Freepers will find this uplifting. Some will probably not like it.
I found it to have a very positive kick at the end.
I would tell you what it's about but it would spoil the ending. And it's only 30 src.

She was pissed.
When he was an (uninvolved) kid, there was an altercation where black thugs shot at each other and the police. He was hit.
While the thugs just stepped over him laying on the ground, bleeding -— a white policeman exposed himself to danger to pull him out of the line of fire and stopped the bleeding until the EMTs could get him to him and tend his wounds on the way to the hospital.
He knows — 1st hand — who saw his black life as actually mattering.
