Too much differences of opinion there to unpack so…we’ll see.

In a war of attrition, if that is what the US and London choose this to be ( using the Ukrainian people) then the winner will be the guy left with the most fighters..

The Ukrainians don't seem to be lacking in desire to continue the fight, so I don't think this is simply the US or London pushing them to do something they do not wish to do. I think the history of trying to do that from the Kuomintang to Afghanistan shows that Ukraine is quite different.

And it's also not just London and and Washington: Poland, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Sweden and Finland are also doing a lot to help Ukraine. The main impediment has been and remains German foot-dragging, which given the SPD's deep ideological hatred of the US and financial ties to Russia and the German attitude to restart business by conceding as much of Ukraine to Russia as they may is hardly surprising.

The whole raison d'etre of the Grosse Koalition for twenty years was the ruthless pursuit of political and economic gains by the German elites at the expense of their European neighbors and the US.
