Her oldest son committed suicide. The house where she died was described as “the house where she resided” - not as her own home.
It is almost inevitable what happened to her, what is the surprising part is that she lived as long as she did given her lifestyle and history.
I hope that before she dies, Pricilla somehow takes care of those poor granddaughters. You’ve got two young girls not even 18 yet, and now this is what they have to contend with.
