I posted earlier about her genetics predisposed her to heart issues.
Her father was suspected of having hypertrophic cardiomyopathy and doing drugs only made things worse.
She probably looked bad because circulation was poor and fluid builds up.
My cat died from this; I had to pull fluid off her lungs. She lasted a long time but eventually her heart failed.
