When I was 14, my dad would take me to his hair ladies who were all partners in a small salon. They were also crazed, obsessed Elvis fans. Elvis pictures EVERYWHERE! Well, the day after Presley died, my dad took me in there for a cut. I swear, it was the longest damn three hours of my life!! They would snip once, then cry cry cry. Wish my late dad were still here, for many reasons, but also to ask him "WHAT THE HELL WERE YOU THINKING???!"
