M&M's is launching woke 'all-female' packs to celebrate female empowerment and attempt to shake things up in a continued shift toward progressive branding.
Mars, M&M's parent company, debuted the feminist candy wrappers earlier this week, exclusively featuring the company's three female mascots: green, brown and the newly-introduced purple.
The all-female package - upside down, to show how powerful women have 'flipped the status quo' - will be the first time the brown and green M&Ms have been featured together since a viral tweet from 2015 sparked rumors they were a lesbian couple.

I guess I won’t buy M&M’s any longer. In other, woke news, Bed, Bath and Beyond went bankrupt and is shuttering/liquidating a large number of stores. Maybe there is a large, silent percentage of Americans that boycott woke businesses.
Processed sugar kills. A boycott is in order nevertheless.
These ‘enlightened’ companies just don’t learn. Go woke, get broke.

I can imagine the scene at the Mars Company board of directors. One mentally ill board member suggests lesbian M&M’s. Everyone else in the room thinks it’s an idiotic idea, but they are afraid to speak up.

That said, I never did like regular M&Ms (it was like eating cheap Hershey’s chocolate) but I still enjoy the peanut ones.

well, fortunately for you, there are many alternative chocolate covered peanut products out there, even one with candy shells. Not so many for just the regular type M&Ms though they can be found.

I stopped eating M&Ms the day my wife learned how to make buckeyes. lol
M&M’s were invented around the beginning of WWII, and became popular in rations because they didn’t melt like chocolate bars. (or so I’ve read)
A shame what they are doing to the brand.
