The long-term goal is for all thinking to be done by "Experts"...who are of course under control of the invisible enemy.
In case you're not buying their B.S., then they'll make it so uncomfortable through various forms of official harassment that you'll keep your mouth shut.
Since it's so much easier to just remain quiet, and pretend to believe their massive lies, they assume eventually people will forget what it's like to think for themselves. (Many already have.)
