I probably have little in common with Santos but the GOP are going to need his vote (and seat) in a slim majority so I am willing to give him a chance and see what he does
Judge them after that

He is no different than Lying “Slo Joe”
And Slo Joe has help. Those who impersonate him. His last speech is a good example, but I first noticed this during his speech when he accepted the ComDem Nomination for President. (It was a Not Joe, and it was recorded, not live.)

(worry about those who can’t tell fact from fiction)
They are called “regular viewers of CNN and MSNBC” - just to make that clear.

Just to point this out on Santos...something to think about.
He ran in the 3rd district (Long Island, Nassau, and NE Queens). After the primary, local news outlets had plenty time to review his history and find these ‘problems’. They basically made no effort.
What does that indicate? I think literally everyone in the newsprint and TV journalism trade...in this district...just looked the other way, and allowed what was a Democrat in Republican ‘clothing’ to win. The public in the 3rd district wanted to send a message, and they were faked-out enough to think Santos was their messenger to send to DC.
He’s a one-term guy. The joke? It’s on the voters of the district, and half of the joke is that journalism is completely dead in that area.

The ancient Greeks would have a politician standing on a stool with a rope around his neck whenever he introduced new legislation. If the people didn't like the legislation, they'd kick the stool out.
If the USA had that luxury, we would have run out of rope long ago.

The issue here is in part what caused no one to look into his background, even his Democrat opposition and the news orgs.
Did simply claiming to be minority gay make everyone refuse to look?
