ODU overcomes scary scene involving teammate in win at Georgia State
STATESBORO, GA (WAVY) – Members of the Old Dominion men’s basketball team watched in shock, and many held back tears, as their teammate Imo Essien had to be tended to by training staff from both ODU and Georgia Southern on Saturday.
Essien, a sophomore guard, appeared to become weak, then collapsed during play in the first half of the contest.
After a few tense moments, Essien, who did not appear to lose consciousness, was helped to his feet and walked off the court with the help of the trainers. “He was responsive throughout and was able to sit with team for the duration of the game and travel back with the team,” read a statement from ODU.
“He is in good spirits and will work with the ODU Sports Medicine staff when they return to Norfolk.”

You betcha!
Got a problem with those two docs and what they stated? Do you have info that refutes their claims?
College food....
Its just never ending. The slow kill.
Or low blood pressure, or low/high blood sugar...
“That’s what real scientists would do.”
Real scientists would attempt to disprove the hypothesis by considering and eliminating all other explanations.
Since covid itself is known to cause serious coronary problems, an honest scientific study requires at least four control groups:
covid and vax
covid and no vax
vax and no covid
no vax and no covid
“If true”
“If” is the biggest word in the English language.
I have the claim — but I have never seen the proof — that 1500+ athletes died on the field from 2021 - 2022. What is your source?
“Got a problem with those two docs and what they stated?”
Yes. I read the article — twice — and I did not see the source or data from which the docs draw their conclusions.

He posted an update an hour ago.
Whatever it is, and he’s not saying, it’s likely not dehydration.
a report by the two docs listed in my post after that one
https://freerepublic.com/focus/chat/4121788/posts?page=19#19
I don’t know the facts are, just what was reported- it coudl very well be that the athletes who died also had contracted covid at some point in the last 2 years which caused heart problems- but Dr McCollah (sp?) and the other doc have stated there was an increase based on reports- I am just posting what they stated- that thread has people claiming the docs reports don’t take other tings into account and aren ‘t valid- that i don’t know, buit i know i wasn’t too convinced by what the detractors stated- -
I didnt see sources that refuted what they said either- I suppose you could email the doc and ask for his sources?
lin k to the source for his report apparently
maybe you can make heads or tails out of it? dont know if there are other sources he used or not- that’s why it might be better to go to him for the answer-
wooops=- not sure what happened- tried ot shorten the link- but didnt’ work for some reason
like one fella stated- used to be folks said that ‘even one life lost is too many’ but now folks are debating whether or not healthy people who are seemingly increasingly dropping dead while playing sports should be discussed?
IF there is an increase- then it should be looked into- not argued against in my opinion- The question is “Does it seem that there has been an increase? If so, where is the data, and if the data shows an increase, then it should behoove us to investigate a possible connection”
Again, your link reports the conclusions but not there source of the data. Indeed, go to the link and click on the URL for note no. 8, and then translate the article from Spanish to English. The so-called source for the 1,500 deaths makes no such claim.
Detail on the “athletes” include 70 year old overweight men who played golf in college and dropped dead of heat attacks.
Check it out.
here is a site that shows pubmed info and other sources that claim there has been an increase since the vaccines came out- might be worth a read-
again, i don’t know one way or the other- but IF there is an increase- then it should be investigated as to why- and IF it’s linked to vaccines, the makers and pushers have soem explaining to do
here is info on age related increases-

How many over 70 athletes were there? The reports i posted links to mention age related deaths- not overall average- Again- there ‘seems to be’ an increase and it can’t be all due to a sudden massive increase of over 70 year olds wi9th heart conditions-
