This IS exactly what they do. It is exactly the choice the parents are given. Transition or suicide. People who think that every parent goes along with the mutilation of their child don’t understand that the parents are being emotionally abused to acquiesce to the demands of the “therapist”.

This is the tactic that was used on some parents I have met through good friends with their son who was considering transitioning. I don’t know for a fact if he has started his hormone treatment, but he may have. The whole family is sick over it.

I have a therapist here in the Nashville area from time to time because I enjoy talking to her and she’s very beautiful former Kentucky beauty queen and she is a devoted Christian and has been very helpful to me in that area so they are not all like this trust me
She’s even cried with some of my stories like when my dog died

Psychiatrist with few exceptions tend be pretty eccentric but there are psychologist and therapist who mean well and try to help people

Therapists are very afraid of having someone die of suicide while under their care or influence. If I were the parents I would tell her that if anything happens to their son they will hold her personally responsible, sue her, and come after her with every legal tool available to them.

The interesting thing is, over 45% of young people who transition will attempt suicide as a result of their transition. So keeping them from transitioning lowers the suicide odds.

I don’t really know if typing All, actually works, but it became too involved to address each of you who have commented and each time I tried to write my posts became much too long.

When this delusion(s) first began to spread, I wondered if I was going to something akin to Conversion Hysteria, which I had only read about in text books and now, I have.

Do not discount or disregard the behavior of this “therapist” because it is very common for therapists to repeat “trend based but false data.” I’ve done it. Often, it confirms one’s own bias and advances the accepted narrative.
