California has always gone through cycles of drought followed by extreme rain and snow. Sure, we have El Nino years and La Nina years. But this is a BOMB CYCLONE! I never even heard the term until a couple years ago. I guess they had to make something up to make normal weather patterns seem more severe.

Weather community has to sensationalize weather so they get click revenue.
Same BS crap as usual. that’s why all of sudden we have “bomb cyclones” and “named winter storms” among other crap.
