here in deep SoCal, we’ve had 2 days of sun and no rain. Which is great - it’s given us a window for the rain to be able to sink further into the desertscape. Ready for round 2.

Dams not only for hydroelectric but for hydrology purposes. A quick look at the entire west coast is clearly representative of heavy weather erosion. The mountain ranges are cut deep with gorges and washes. Beautiful weather, but prone to extremes.
The term Pacific is practically an Oxymoron.
The idiots in my county decided to take down for an earthquake retrofit.
In additon, people are opposed to expand another reservoirs capacity.
