I have liberal relatives there. Can’t wait to see how things are going in MA after this governor has been in place a year or so.
I am perfectly happy to give mASSachuttes a kiss to the king.
My friend’s 96 year old mother told her she would never had voted for 2 gay women had she known.
She is a very obnoxious and unlikeable sort of person, her sex and sexuality aside. My boss had his car stolen from his work parking lot in Nashua, New Hampshire, some years ago. When he called his wife to explain the situation, she told him there were some cops at his house looking for him. It seems his car had been used in a bank robbery, and the police were understandably skeptical of the old, “my car was stolen” dodge. After some grilling they let him go. Some time later he got a call from the Middlesex County, Massachusetts District Attorney’s office. Maura Healey was a young attorney there, she called to tell him his car had been found abandoned in Medford, Massachusetts, and would he come get it, and would he be willing to testify in a trial in Massachusetts. His dealings with her were perfectly satisfactory, but power has gone to her head, since then.
She later served as Middlesex District Attorney (following unsuccessful gubernation candidate Martha Coakley) and later became Massachusetts Attorney General. When there were complaints about “trans” men using the ladies room, she said that if women were uncomfortable with that, they should “hold it in”, in the most odious and obnoxious tone. That idiotic smirk on her face is unsettling.
