A vast majority of reps wouldn’t vote for Trump to be Speaker because he would make them earn their money and the fun and games at taxpayer expense would be over.
They would NEVER vote for Trump.
Actually they would vote for Trump if that is the only way to get McCarthy in as Speaker (in April). In fact, I think McCarthy would be the biggest arm twister to drum up votes for Trump as Speaker so that in 100 days McCarthy would finally have his PRECIOUSSSSSSSSSS.
