US National Football League star Damar Hamlin woke up after collapsing during a game and asked doctors treating him in hospital if his team won the game.
The Buffalo Bills star suffered a cardiac arrest on the field during Monday night's game in Ohio, causing an outpouring of grief from football fans.
Doctors and his team say he has shown "remarkable improvement" in the past 24 hours and is "neurologically intact".
Hamlin has been in the intensive care unit since he was taken off the field.
He has been communicating with doctors by writing after waking up.
One of Hamlin's physicians, Dr Timothy Pritts, said he had asked who won the game between the Bills and the Cincinnati Bengals.

Hamlin is still on a ventilator in the intensive care unit at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center to help his breathing.

His agent, Ron Butler, confirmed to CNN that Hamlin was awake and had been holding hands with his family in the hospital.

Until then, we simply don't know, and the people and the institutions who have been lying to us for almost three years simply cannot be relied on to tell us the truth.
I have to says that is pure BS. Our son was in a major car accident years ago. By the grace of God, an off duty Ohio Highway patrolman happened to be on his way home. Our son was not breathing, his heart had stopped, he was in cardia arrest, he gave him CPR resuscitated him on scene. He was lifeflighted, had a serious closed head injury, lung injury from the seatbelt, broken scapula, and had aspirated into his lungs. In a coma, on full life support, after wonderful ICU care and amazing docs, six weeks later he was released into rehab. Today, thirty years later, he is skiing in Park City with his family. It is all by the miracles God gives us everyday, a Highway patrolman was our angel sent. The immediate medical rescue from those at the football game for Hamlin were miracles and a sign of God’s presence. Let’s celebrate this gift for now.

They went beyond that - they declared he was already gone. They got out there as fast as they could to post how the vaccine killed him, seemingly excited over an opportunity to push that narrative regardless of reality. No concern for him or his family, etc. Exact MO of the gun control extremists who do that after a shooting before any facts or information is known.
