Gov. Andy Beshear the Kentucky governor is trending on Twitter.
He is doing a lot of media "welcoming" Biden and touting the loot from the infrastructure bill.
A lot of Dems seem to be excited and see him as presidential material. He is trying to raise his profile.
Here's what I know: He barely won his election in Kentucky and only because he bribed the teachers unions I believe. It was very close against the GOP incumbent Bevin.
I think he's a lightweight personally but i'd like to hear what others think.
He's on the ballot this year for election.
The media claim he is popular ...
I reckon defeating him should be a priority and I'm wondering whether Mitch McConnell will meddle in the GOP Primary which will likely be a crowded field.
Should be interesting...

Just like the Dominion election they just had in GA where large numbers of people voted for Kemp but then voted for Warnock.
I know that Bevan was an unpopular governor in KY, but it always seems to only be republicans who "split their ticket."
I put the term in quotations because I don't believe at all that is what happened.
He won by a few thousand votes if I remember correctly.
Most seemed to put it down to the teachers
Matt Bevin wanted to break up the teachers union stranglehold on education. This riled up many Republican teachers, especially the women. Begich would NEVER have won that race otherwise.
Meant to say Andy Beshear would not have won otherwise.
Andy Buttsmear is a cuck globalist.
Which is exactly why he’s being pushed
Why would Mcconnell get involved in a governor race? It doesn’t help him in the least.
Can’t help but wonder how much wealth he’s gained since getting into politics. Just to see how he stacks up to the Harry Truman rule.
JB can have his cousin Jennifer Pritzker campaign for him. I think it lives in Kentucky.
Yep.
In my circles here in Kentucky he’s a laughing stock.
I live in Southern Indiana. If we had such things as mountains I could easily see Kentucky.
Anyway he is widely regarded around here as an idiot. Which means he could fill Biden’s place remarkably well.
“Most seemed to put it down to the teachers”
All that Buttsmear touted was how he was gonna save teacher’s pensions.
LOL! Haven’t heard him even mention these words since. He should have been impeached long ago for violations of the Kentucky Constitution, but since we’ve had a do-nothing legislature since the 1860’s and that apparently is the tradition...the “good ol’ boy social club” continues.
He’s the turtle’s life insurance policy!
Yes, the writing has been on the walls for this with some of us ringing the alarm bells for some time.
The base will probably sit on their behinds and keep their wallets closed yet again this election year and allow Beshear to coast to re-election and keep him on the bench. Wish I was wrong about that, but the past couple of election cycles provide no reason to believe otherwise, and the fundraising numbers so far would seem to indicate a repeat of history.
He actually proposed raiding those funds again.
Bevin’s continuous foot-in-mouth disease did him in. Saying teachers protesting was causing child sexual abuse was where he really damaged himself badly. The final nail in the coffin was coming out for toll roads in northern Kentucky on the eve of the election, sealing his fate...more than enough to have changed the results. The deep red northern Kentucky counties were light red or even light blue instead.
Trump should have also held his rally in conservative western Kentucky rather than in the heart of liberal Lexington - some credited that rally with getting the Democrats motivated in that area to vote in larger numbers.
There are no Dominion voting machines in Kentucky to my knowledge.
However, regardless, that did not cause Bevin to make incredibly stupid verbal gaffes like claiming teachers protesting his policies were causing child sexual abuse...biting his tongue on that comment would have been enough to change the election results alone. He still probably would have won but sealed his fate by coming out for tolls in northern Kentucky on the eve of the election, resulting in those deep red counties either being light red or even light blue - and they are some of the more populous counties, so that would have been enough to swing the election if he had not made that statement.
LOL. That would be a good payoff for the teachers. Next time they might pay attention in class…but I doubt it.
