That’s what chamber pots are for.
I cannot imagine my kids using a chamber pot. But, everyone has their own thing I guess.

When I tent camp, I keep a capped plastic jug in the tent JUST SO I don’t have to go outside and find a tree in the middle of the night. Comes in handy, especially in the winter.
