At the current moment I strongly suspect both Romania and Bulgaria are more corrupt than Ukraine. And let's not forget the recent arrests of EU MPs on charges of corruption for bribes from Qatar and the SPD's direct ties to Russian funding in Germany.

It often strikes me that the "end of history" shows that oligarchy and not representative democracy is the end form of human government.
