I feel so lucky to be less than three months from Seventy and working on my 49th year of marriage.   I just had the urge to make that comment.   I don't even need to read this.

You are indeed lucky. My wife of 30 years died of breast cancer at 59 years old. Eleven years ago. You don’t get over it; you get used to it.
