Sad. My 8-yr-old (soon to be 9) granddaughter got the correct answer right away. She said half of 500 is 250 and half of 50 is 25, 250 and 25 is 275.

I always pay with $40.00 bills. But it don’t matter no more, because Dinah Moe said, and, etc. (wink, wink, nudge, nudge - say no more).
