Dr. McCullough makes a couple of interesting points if it's Commotio cordis.
1. the projectile hitting the chest needs to be traveling at 40 miles an hour if it's faster or slower the risk is significantly less. The hockey stick hitting the chest video I posted was traveling about that speed.
2. Damar Hamlin case would make it the first time this has happened in football. Making it highly unlikely it was Commotio cordis.
I find it odd Dr. McCullough didn't address the time delay (standing up) for the reaction. Given he would've been having the heart attack when he was hit.
