It just amazes me how fast liberals jump on any latest bandwagon.

I had a flaming liberal confront me about the ‘poor indian burial ground’ being defiled by the proposed pipeline from Canada.

I told her all the facts as I knew them to be true
1) the Indians had a truck route through the reservation
2) they were paid PER BARREL for the oil transported, to cover road maintenance
3) the oil company asked to create a pipeline which would allow them to transport 10 times the amount of oil, with less environmental damage
4) the Indians STILL wanted to be paid PER BARREL, and refused to negotiate
5) the oil company moved the pipeline OFF the reservation
6) the Indians STILL WANTED TO BE PAID, for oil that was no longer being transported over their land
7) the oil companies told them to go pound sand
8) the Indians created the FALSE narrative that the new location would desecrate their ancient burial ground
9) they organized a protest on the land, and desecrated it themselves...

I explained this to my friend and she STILL was against the pipeline. Even though I just contradicted every single one of her arguments against it. It was more environmentally safe. There were already 10 other pipelines going through the same location. The new location was not even on Indian land anymore, OR a burial ground...

She still was against it.

Liberalism is a mental disease

Liberalism is a mental disease. One has to discount reality and outcomes, and hold feelings in a higher regard.
