They did CPR on him for 9 minutes right on the field, before putting him in an ambulance. Awful thing.
On occasion, they administer CPR without CPR being required. It’s unusual, but it does happen. Let’s hope that’s the case.
If it was the hit that stopped his heart, his heart didn’t need CPR—it needed to be shocked back into rhythm.
