Saw the video - it was a run-of-the-mill hit/block, nothing excessive or overly violent about it - dude just keeled over.
Looked like all the other heart attacks of people on stage recently.
Saw a comment from 4 minutes ago at one of the YouTube videos...
“For those who don’t know the player made a tackle and got up and collapsed on the field. The player heart stopped and he was not breathing cpr was preformed on him for 9 minutes and as of right now his heart is working and he is breathing. Prayers up for the team, him and family. ❤”
Hope he makes it.
85 hit him in the heart area. We’ve seen this happen before, but not to this length. The heart may be between beats and the hit at that exact moment stops them cold.
Or it could be something else like a blood clot.
All we really know is he had to have CPR right there on the field. We know nothing more at the moment.
