You’ll be able to buy a new ICE car elsewhere so I don’t see a problem. Also, the market may become flooded with “demos” with very few miles on them.

I’m thinking if the poor could afford charging stations in their homes/garages? I heard they are quite expensive to put in and takes up most of the power coming into the homes.

The problem is ,if you buy an internal combustion engine car in another state, you won’t be able to get Washington license plates on it. Ditto if California goes through with their plan to ban internal combustion engine sales.
