Your word-choice completely masks the fact that the Soviet Union and Nazi Germany were "best buddies" before Hitler decided to stab Stalin in the back.
The Soviet Union and Nazi Germany joined forces to carve up Poland amongst themselves, as per the Secret Protocol of the Molotov–Ribbentrop Pact.
Regards,
Huh?! Are you talking about Unternehmen Seelöwe? The planned (but never executed) Nazi plan to invade Britain?
Because Nazi Germany never invaded Britain!
The Soviet Union and Nazi Germany joined forces to invade, conquer, and divide amongst themselves Poland - which triggered WWII.
Russia was thus "involved" long before the Battle of Britain.
Your warped understanding of history stinks!
Regards,
‘Ukraine war: Putin should face trial this year, says top lawyer’
“...Commenting on the war in Ukraine, Sir Geoffrey said the case “couldn’t be clearer” against Mr Putin, and there was “no doubt” of a chain of command leading to the man in the Kremlin.
This meant the “most important thing” was to try the Russian leader himself, rather than low-ranking soldiers, he told Broadcasting House.
He added that any trial “could be tomorrow morning, as far as I’m concerned” and should be held by Ukrainians in the Ukrainian language. Mr Putin himself would not need to be present, he said...”
https://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-64138851
“...When the Russian leader delivered his televised war declaration on February 24, sending his troops forward to carry out a large-scale invasion, he anticipated that Kyiv would fall in a matter of days — a grave assessment echoed by US and Western intelligence, as well as many think tank experts and analysts.
More than 10 months later, the city of nearly 3 million people remains in Ukrainian hands. The country’s forces have managed to not only weather Moscow’s invasion on multiple fronts, but have even pushed Russian troops back in some areas, liberating thousands of square miles of territory that had fallen to Russian troops early in the war...”
Alex. If you look a little further along the thread I said I made a typo and corrected it.
We all make mistakes, nicht wahr?
Regards and Happy New Year.
Are you nuts?
It's all they've been doing.
My on-the-ground anonymous sources tell me that last night, the Incredibly Brave Gay-Dancing Hero (He's a hero to the entire West!!) Zelnskyyyyyy™ singlehandedly captured 14 Russian cities and decimated 20,000 Russian troops. The war is now effectively over!
Take that Putin!!!
The Rough Trade Gay-Dancing, Piano Dick-Playing WEF Tool and his beard (who Spent at least $40,000 on Christmas Grifts this year) have saved the world and helped "The West find itself again!"
Тепер усі — циркові клоуни, які весело танцюють! Зеленський показав дорогу!!!
Maybe Ukraine’s committing genocide on it’s Russian speaking population in Eastern Ukraine was not such a good idea. JS
Yes, I was remiss in that I did not first scan down the entire thread, looking for your retraction.
Regards,
I would suggest important to draw your own conclusions. Label me as you wish for your own comfort zone.
IMO: “Morality” is applied Ethics which is nothing but reverence for life. The fundamental principle of morality, is that good consists in maintaining, promoting, and enhancing life, and that destroying, injuring, and limiting life are evil.
I admire the quote from Albert Schweitzer, in Kulturphilosophie (1923), Vol. 2
“Civilization and Ethics
Ethics (from Ancient Greek ethikos) is a branch of philosophy that involves systematizing, defending, and recommending concepts of right and wrong conduct.”
Hope you will have a wonderful New Year.
“men are trying to escape
Re-check your sources.
Russian men, women and children are all escaping the Putin fascist regime.
Actually, this substantiates the premise of Erich Fromm, “The Sane Society”
“Fascism, Nazism and Stalinism have in common that they offered the atomized individual a new refuge and security. These systems are the culmination of alienation. The individual is made to feel powerless and insignificant, but taught to project all of his human powers into the figure of the leader, the state, the “fatherland,” to whom he has to submit and whom he has to worship. He escapes from freedom and into a new idolatry.
All the achievements of individuality and reason, from the late Middle Ages to the nineteenth century are sacrificed on the altars of the new idols. ... built on the most flagrant LIES, both with regard to their programs and to their leaders.”
Erich Fromm, The Sane Society New York, NY, Rinehart & Company
“Would you say a prayer for my brother please.
I think this “person” is a programmed chat bot.”
Your brother is being remembered in prayer. I think this
“person” is a programmed chat bot. A very nefarious and devious one.
Your personal emotional pain is causing confusion in your reasoning which results in declaration of false accusations.
But, I do understand & take no offense.
ADDENDUM:
“I think this “person” is a programmed chat bot. A very nefarious and devious one.”
I do understand & take no offense.
It is so easy when we have opposing viewpoints, to resort to name-calling & making false accusations.
WE ALL HAVE.
However, in Ex 20:16, each of us is prohibited from making such false statements.
Or, as Matthew Henry taught that the prohibition against false witness concerns our own and our neighbor’s good name.
“Thou shalt not bear false witness” forbids:
1. Speaking falsely in any matter, lying, equivocating, and any way devising and designing to deceive our neighbor.
2. Speaking unjustly against our neighbor, to the prejudice of his reputation; and (which involves the guilty of both). 3. Bearing false witness against him, laying to his charge things that he KNOWS NOT, either judicially, upon oath or extrajudicially, in COMMON CONVERSATION, slandering, backbiting, tale-bearing, aggravating what is done amiss and making it worse than it is, and any way endeavoring to raise our OWN reputation upon the ruin of our neighbors.”
That’s why by God’s Grace each of us has been given a Savior from the weakness of our human heart.
May God grant Vladimir Putin whatever strength and wisdom he might need to put an end to the criminal regime in Kiev and bring its hoodlum leaders to justice. Amen.
This entire story is BS. There is no trace of it elsewhere.
I wouldn't be surprised if it's a group of Eastern European guys with three-day old facial hair.
So it's "true" - just like the "attacks on Russia" on December 31st, posted by another FR Banderite propagandist...
“I doubt”
Don’t let your random thoughts create false allusions.
I received this today & thought I would share.
PONDERING LIFE & KINDNESS FOR THIS COMING NEW YEAR:
I arrived at the address and honked the horn. After waiting a few minutes I honked again. Since this was going to be my last ride of my shift I thought about just driving away, but instead I put the car in park and walked up to the door and knocked.. ‘Just a minute’, answered a frail, elderly voice. I could hear something being dragged across the floor.
After a long pause, the door opened. A small woman in her 90’s stood before me. She was wearing a print dress and a pillbox hat with a veil pinned on it, like somebody out of a 1940’s movie.
By her side was a small nylon suitcase. The apartment looked as if no one had lived in it for years. All the furniture was covered with sheets. There were no clocks on the walls, no knickknacks or utensils on the counters. In the corner was a cardboard box filled with photos and glassware.
‘Would you carry my bag out to the car?’ she said. I took the suitcase to the cab, then returned to assist the woman.
She took my arm and we walked slowly toward the curb.
She kept thanking me for my kindness.
‘It’s nothing’, I told her.. ‘I just try to treat my passengers the way I would want my mother to be treated.’
‘Oh, you’re such a good boy,’ she said. When we got in the cab, she gave me an address and then asked, ‘Could you drive
through downtown?’
‘It’s not the shortest way,’ I answered quickly..
‘Oh, I don’t mind,’ she said. ‘I’m in no hurry. I’m on my way to a hospice.’
I looked in the rear-view mirror. Her eyes were glistening. ‘I don’t have any family left,’ she continued in a soft voice.. ‘The doctor says I don’t have very long.’ I quietly reached over and shut off the meter.
‘What route would you like me to take?’ I asked.
For the next two hours, we drove through the city. She showed me the building where she had once worked as an elevator operator.
We drove through the neighborhood where she and her husband had lived when they were newlyweds. She had me pull up in front of a furniture warehouse that had once been a ballroom where she had gone dancing as a girl. Sometimes she’d ask me to slow in front of a particular building or corner and would sit staring into the darkness, saying nothing.
As the first hint of sun was creasing the horizon, she suddenly said, ‘I’m tired. Let’s go now’.
We drove in silence to the address she had given me. It was a low building, like a small convalescent home, with a driveway that passed under a portico.
Two orderlies came out to the cab as soon as we pulled up. They were solicitous and intent, watching her every move.
They must have been expecting her. I opened the trunk and took the small suitcase to the door. The woman was already seated in a wheelchair.
‘How much do I owe you?’ She asked, reaching into her purse.
‘Nothing,’ I said.
‘You have to make a living,’ she answered.
‘There are other passengers,’ I responded.
Almost without thinking, I bent and gave her a hug. She held onto me tightly.
‘You gave an old woman a little moment of joy,’ she said. ‘Thank you.’
I squeezed her hand, and then walked into the dim morning light.. Behind me, a door shut. It was the sound of the closing of a life..
I didn’t pick up any more passengers that shift. I drove aimlessly lost in thought. For the rest of that day,I could hardly talk. What if that woman had gotten an angry driver, or one who was impatient to end his shift? What if I had refused to take the run, or had honked once, then driven away?
On a quick review, I don’t think that I have done anything more important in my life.
We’re conditioned to think that our lives revolve around great moments. But great moments often catch us unaware-beautifully wrapped in what others may consider a small one.
PEOPLE MAY NOT REMEMBER EXACTLY WHAT YOU DID, OR WHAT YOU SAID ~BUT~ THEY WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER HOW YOU MADE THEM FEEL.
Life may not be the party we hoped for, but while we are here we might as well dance............
May you have a Blessed New Year
