I usually eat dark leaf lettuce, doesn’t work for wedge. Anyway since my mouth surgeries I cut my lettuce to make it easier to eat. My mother must be turning in her grave; “ never cut lettuce, tear it”, same rule with bread loaves.

I have a special lettuce knife. It’s a serrated, plastic chef style knife.

I only need it for large salads (all the family/pot lucks).

My peas, fried cabbage and Mexican cornbread are just about ready.
