Thanks for this info....very good to know.

I also have some dry kibble stored both ways. I think it’s about 2 years old....going on, now.

I do know that roasts we’ve Food Saver sealed, and, put in the deep freeze....have lasted over 2 years.

We did the taste test, with those, obviously :) and, everything tasted just fine. No adverse effects.....and, it’s been a while.

I really need to go through the freezers and reorganize, all.

It’s amazing how long the meats and veggies have lasted, and, fared...over time.

I bought some Costco chocolate chips, and, have those in a mylar bags (w/02As)....so, that is also great to know, about the chocolate.

The hard part (for me) is keeping it all cycled, and, used.

That’s great, we have had our own FR chocolate shelf life study! I did look on the LDS site for chocolate data, no luck. Looks like we are the first. 😁🍫

I’ve noticed the same thing with meat in the freezer. Not so much with veggies - you’ll have to let me know your secret to packing them.

We hang a clip board next to the deep freeze.
Put a line through what we take out and or add what we put in and the dates they were put in there.
