I guess I’d say I’m half Texan and half Californian, but I have to admit Californians can tolerate colder water. Where I lived, the ocean would be so cold but it would numb you fast so so didn’t feel it. The Texan in me prefers a little warmer water.

Yes...the Pacific...especially in Cali....is COLD 🥶
For me, anyways.
I can ‘force myself’ to tolerate it, in HI ... LOL!!
