Been a bunch of disturbances and (gasp) shootings over in downtown Billings to the point that one grand daughter is ready to get outta that Big Town and move back out in The Sticks.
Common thought about the deal in Billings is that along with the flock of newcomers from the West Coast there have to have been some culls.
Most of the neighbors around The Homestead are just checking gates and lights a little more carefully. Most all have at least a shotgun in vehicles by choice or just habit and sidearms are almost as common out here as Carhart jeans.
(Which reminds me to go pick up that .380 auto I got for Grand daughter #4's birthday present....no, it's just coincidental.)
