A viral video shows a man "surfing" flooded streets after a recent California storm originated in Aptos.
A category 3 atmospheric river struck the Central Coast of California, flooding areas of Santa Cruz County. Residents in the Rio Del Mar neighborhood in Aptos woke up to major flooding on Tuesday from relentless rain pouring down overnight.
But for some people, the flooding created an opportunity.
The video shows an SUV dragging a man on a surfboard through the flooded streets.

Raining like crazy here in Walnut Creek. The gutter at the back of my place is overflowing, I’m hearing intermittent drip, suspect it’s going over the edge.
From what I read, it’s supposed to let up later today, dry tomorrow and Tuesday, steady rain for the rest of the week.
Expecting Noah Newsome to float by with his boatload of animals any time now. Of course, he’ll be telling us how bad the drought is, mainly due to “Glow-bull warming”.
Just wait until the water thins out and he hits the pavement!

Yes “Express” is also what folks called it.
During my Tahoe days -’89 to ‘91 - and working at Heavenly Valley and Kirkwood we used both terms.
That’s 1980 thru 1991.

And there’s “polar vortex” and “bomb cyclone”.
Meteorologists have come up with a lot of bs terms to make weather more exciting. For click revenue of course. Just like the tards in the media.
I am waiting for this next storm to arrive at the south valley.
The video after that shows a tuna leaping out of the water and catching another fish to eat. Too bad they did not show the shark that leaped out and caught the tuna.... : )
