Yes, someone studying criminal justice to get the upper hand on investigative techniques has to have a lower IQ.
Jack the Ripper and D. B. Cooper are not a dime-a-dozen. We only know of them because they were two of the less than a handful of criminals who appeared to get away with their crimes. Yet, in all likelihood they both ended their crime sprees because they met their unsung just deserts.
