I don’t understand your comment about white Hyundais. How many white Hyundais are registered in that area? Probably dozens of not a hundred. Once they identified the car as being a white Hyundai, they had to eliminate all the others someway. Getting a tag pic at a convenience store or some other place would be the easiest way, if possible. Also they could use credit card transactions in the vicinity to match up with owners of white Hyundais, to see which ones were headed away from town....
