To: Tolerance Sucks Rocks
I don't find this funny at all.....usually they shoot to kill at the torso but they seemed to take pleasure in wounded this guy in a terrible way....

sounds like the cops who basically shot the face off a 13 yro kid here locally who was threatening suicide....that'll show him I guess...

No, many training ranges teach two shots to the center of mass to STOP, not kill. The reason for the center of mass shots is 1) it’s a big target and 2) one’s accuracy goes down when under stress.

This doesn’t sound funny to me, either. The police were aiming center mass and shot too low. This does not imply Japanese soldier-style torture. It reflects human behavior in a scary, lethal situation.

Having said that, there’s something wonderfully karmic about the whole thing.

You pull a gun on a Cop then all bets are off and you now completely own what ever happens or would you prefer a Cop in a body bag?

May not have been intentional. Quite common to shoot low when under stress or poorly trained.
