A few years back I went to the observation deck of the Burj Kalifa in Dubai. I wasn't at all impressed...for several reasons. The biggest reason is that apart from a number of butt ugly skyscrapers along that boulevard (can't recall the name) all you see is desert.

By far the best one I've visited was the original World Trade Center...the outdoors deck (on the roof),not the enclosed one just below.

I’ve not been there, but the vids and stills I’ve seen from the top of the BK (I wonder how the burgers are there?) show what a crap landscape surrounds it.

But on a brighter note I saw a Bugatti Veyron Vitesse in the valet parking area at the Mall of Dubai. I thought about taking it for a spin but I’ve always wanted to die with my head attached to the rest of my body. ;-)
