Can you get into Alaska? Maybe their border is less tough? Once there for a bit, maybe you could get around the country easily.
Or what about Puerto Rico? Are they strict? Maybe it’s easier for them to enter?
I can actually cross by car into Buffalo if I get the right border officer, or the wrong one doesn’t ask the right questions. I flew to Aruba from Buffalo in November and went to a funeral in Buffalo in September. It’s hit and miss. Some of the officers don’t give a *hoot* while others are obedient little drones. Every tyrant needs his flunkies to advance the tyranny.
I’d be gone already except for my business. I’m doing a balancing act here between freedom and prosperity. I may be unwisely choosing prosperity at the moment hoping I can still have both. If it becomes apparent that both are definitely not possible or likely, I will absolutely choose freedom. I also have an unjabbed son to think about. I don’t think it’s morally right to abandon him here while I escape the tyranny. It’s a very uncomfortable position to be in and one I never would have imagined I’d be in.
If you have or have access to a boat, it would be easy to sneak into Southeast Alaska around Haines, or anywhere in the Southeast islands from Vancouver or the Canadian mainland.
Airplanes are tracked more closely but you might do it in a small bush plane; Not really an option.
A fit, experienced outdoorsman might do it on foot from Yukon or Mainland BC. Also unlikely.
I like the boat option (probably because I have one and that's how I got here)
