Bringing in the New Year with a Columbo marathon (it’s still on, and episodes are still from the 70’s).
Interesting things:
For the New year, the five words you do not want to hear (besides “Will the defendant please rise?”) is: “My Name is Lt. Columbo”.
In the early episodes, there was no writing in his little black book...all the pages you can see are blank...too funny.
It was a psy-op.
He was letting the suspect know that he didn’t need to write down anything because he saw it all.
