Unfortunately, humanity is comprised of sinners, so, technology will always fall into the wrong hands. The Internet has great uses, but it also feeds and creates porn addiction and exposes children at younger and younger ages. Likewise for smartphones.
Sexual immorality and perversion go hand in hand with murder, persecution of God’s people, and idolatry. Unwanted pregnancies resulting from sex trafficking, prostitution, and recreational sex lead to the demand for abortion. When God’s people speak out against evil it enrages those who embrace evil. So, they want to murder those who speak out. They also reject God as He reveals Himself to be and seek gods made in their own image to replace Him.
For the immorality, murder, and idolatry God’s wrath is coming on the world.
