If no signs of struggle, then he laced their drinks [unconscious], stabbed them, because the two other roommates sleeping downstairs woulda heard the screams. Autopsies should reveal if killed in their sleep coz of pooled blood thckness postions on lower have if sleeping on back or side?

Coroner said they were killed in their sleep as soon as he was done with the autopsies, first week of the investigation. No drugs and some alcohol in their bloodstream.

Police would routinely conceal certain details of this crime scene in order to protect an ongoing investigation. They would get too many false leads otherwise. I would guess by now they have over 300 suspects, err "persons of interest". It will be a long, hard job to go through them all.

It was pretty clear that the victims were killed in their sleep by somebody who knew how to do that without waking them. One person with skills could have done that.

I have heard speculation that there may have been multiple perpetrators involved rather than a single person, but no solid indicators have been disclosed yet for either possibility. I tend to believe that it was a single person who did the killings. The perpetrator was almost certainly a male (or two men). They may have left DNA traces at the scene.

I can conjure up at least five different scenarios as to why the killings were done, but I haven't got strong indicators to prefer any of them. And the real story is more likely something I have yet to imagine.

I would bet that some of the other posters in this forum will call out the real story correctly, either with a good guess or good contacts. I hope the police catch the perpetrator(s).
