I don’t see any reason why she should be charged with a crime.
St. Louis, ‘progressive’ prosecutors, meaning they are pro-criminal, pro-crime.
She was doing the job local LEOs failed to do.
We use to hang horse thieves. We should do the same to car thieves.
Arrested, charged, tried, convicted, fined $1.
Forever immune to further legal action under double jeopardy...
“I don’t see any reason why she should be charged with a crime”
I get what your saying about doing a public service but that doesn’t make it lawful.
It really depends on state law......I imagine it’s unlawful to pursue a criminal when not in fear for your life.
I figure the law will say she shoulda called the cops when she knew where her car was instead of taking the law into her own hands..
Now if she’d have shot them WHILE they were attempting to steal her car that would I imagine be more in line with a fear for life or bodily harm situation.
However that’s more in line with Florida law so like I said, depends on the state law.
“I don’t see any reason why she should be charged with a crime.”
It is a clear message from the government to the people that you will be jailed if you defend yourself or your property.
