When was the last time we actually won a war? How much money did we spend fighting the Taliban before we turned Afghanistan over to the Taliban - who kicked us in the ass on the way out the door.
To put this in perspective, Russia has been building its armed forces for decades. Their current force structure represents a whole lot more than just two years of their annual war-making budget.
As a total aside, I despise the term “Department (or Ministry) of Defense”. We were much more honest when we used the terms “Department (or Ministry) of War”.
The US is funding the entire Ukrainian h9vernment. Someone has to pay Zelensky’s salary and jet setting around the world.

If the Ukraine prevails, it will not be the US that won. It will be the WEF, the EU and the New Order.
And I am betting that 75% of that money bounces back into the pockets of Biden’s friends. Massive money laundering scheme that will go uninvestigated by our idiot AG Merrick Garland.
I’ve never seen such looting and theft of a Treasury like this and everyone apart from a few conservatives and skeptics seem fine with it.

Yes, it makes sense. We have a golden opportunity to end Russia as a source of predation and we see freepers not on track. We have largely funded our military to defend against Russia and now that it is needed and someone else is willing to do the fighting it is a golden opportunity. Our willingness to stand with the decent countries of the world is a powerful deterrent to china and might well prevent it from invading Taiwan which will involve American troopers and American lives.
