I got caught in a Wyoming blizzard in 1985. I was heading to Vancouver, Washington and just past Cheyenne. About 5 miles west it was like someone threw a bucket of snow on my windshield. It was the longest 90 mile drive to Rawlings. Took 4 hours and multiple stops to clear my headlights and wipers off.
Relatives got stuck in Rawlins overnight last year when I80 was closed. I80 in that general area was closed for a time yesterday.
