My 2018 Honda CRV pretty much can drive itself on Interstates. Between the adaptive cruise control, lane assist and accident avoidance systems, the car steers itself and will brake and even stop the car if the car in front brakes. But being a geezer, I still keep my hands on the wheel and my foot ready to brake if I need to.
I have to wonder if the structure of the Bay Bridge somehow interferes with the FSD system. Seems to me there was another crash a year or so ago involving a inattentive driver on the bridge in a Tesla.
