As a long suffering, avid Texans fan and season ticket holder (until they joined the kneeling nonsense in 2020), I’d like to see JJ Watt signed to a 1-day contract by Houston so that he can retire as a Texan. It probably won’t happen, but it would be nice.
He lit up NRG Stadium for us a few times in the height of his career and did a lot for the Houston community.
Would be a nice gesture. He is very personable and could easily fit in as a sports analysis on any network. Watched him on hard knocks this years and was very impressed by his conduct on and off the field. Only wish he would have gotten a ring in those 12 years.
