I just saw Steve Hackett perform Genesis’s hits from the seventies. He put together amazing musicians and the band was tight. I never saw so many old bald white men in one place. Count my hubby among them.

As much as I would have loved to see it, I just can't deal with hearing other singers doing Genesis songs. Phil and Peter's voices are so unique.

Close your eyes and you couldn’t tell the difference. Nad Sylvan, Swedish-American. He did crack us up, the way he glided off the stage like he was being pulled along a track, a fan blowing his long hair.

Btw, just saw a TP&HB tribute band Friday night, the 16th, called “Southern Accents.” It was fun, but made me miss the real McCoy terribly. It was close, but oh, so far, at the same time. I love live music, though, so it was a nice change up from our usual vinyl collection listening experience.
