***Status of Mebendazole? Approved, in trial or EUA?***

The wiki entry that I posted finishes: The anti-cancer effect of mebendazole comes from preclinical studies and case reports which seems to indicate that it is not 'approved' - and given the present situation, I wonder if it ever will be approved. If it costs, say, $15 a dose, how can many in D.C. get rich kickbacks for approving it and promoting it?

Mebendazole is used to treat infections caused by worms. It works by keeping the worm from absorbing sugar (glucose), so that the worm loses energy and dies. This medicine is available only with your doctor’s prescription.
