Bless him! I’m in WNY and after 4 hrs without power yesterday it came back on, and all I could think of was how awful it must have been for those crews to be up in lifts in this wind. I have 2 dogs and a cat so I figured it’d just be a 3 dog night (my cat identifies as a dog). Your son and those crews are definitely heros in this storm!
Thank you for your kind words. He and his crew are still out there clearing trees, downed lines and debris from the roads so emergency vehicles can pass. Restoration of power isn’t happening yet because it’s too windy and dangerous to be up in the bucket to re-string lines or replace power poles. He says they’re going to be working 16 hour days until late into the week, so we’ll have our Christmas celebration next weekend. We are blessed to be safe, warm, employed, have food in the fridge, and love in our lives.
Merry Christmas to all of you!
