We haven’t lost a big set battle in a while and it will be a hard pill to sallow. After a few such set backs will come the draft.

Conscription will come much sooner that that given the current shortage of junior enlisted in the army's ranks. A draft will be a total mess:

1. Hollywood actors, NBA players, and TikTok stars will demand exemptions to the draft.
2. Suddenly, a lot more men will be "transitioning."
3. People will be upset that none of the illegal immigrants have signed up for selective service.

My mother told me a few weeks ago LBJ was unpopular because he instituted the draft and Nixon was popular because he ended the draft.

What??? The draft ran from 1940 through 1973, LBJ didn’t start it.
