Nuclear engineering is useless degree. For about last 40 years.
The environs will never let us build another nuclear power plant!

I thought that most nuclear engineering degrees today were for medical treatments, diagnostics and research.

I think that the US Navy can keep most nuclear stations running with guys retiring under Bid*n.

I think France would love to have her for their ongoing nuclear program - very glamorous. There is always China ... where cheap energy is abundant and appreciated - CCP press releases not withstanding.

Ha. My brother is desperately trying to hire Nuclear Engineers and they can pretty much name their price. The average pay is well above almost all other Engineering disciplines.
PS If you actually know any Nukes let me know so I can help my brother out.

It isn’t Regulations it economics. GA power is still plugging along on Vogel 3 and 4.
