It took me about a month to adapt - and remember to bring the damn bags.
So I had to keep buying more. I now have enough reusable
bags to last me at least a decade...

I'm okay with groceries now but at smaller stores I keep forgetting. Last week I walked out of Wal-Mart with a cart full of purchased material without any bags. Pain in the butt getting stopped and having my receipt checked.
